Litigation Support

Making Litigation Easier and Cost-effective

Technology has transformed the litigation industry, and changes keep on coming. To benefit from the latest innovations in speed and quality of records, it is critical for attorneys to have access to the best litigation support services provider there is. Northwestern Court Reporters is that provider – and more.

We are dedicated to being on the cutting edge of technology and keeping abreast of all new developments to help you stay on top. We constantly seek to add value to your legal team through outstanding reporting, coupled with organizational management power brought by new software products: In the 1990s, we were among the first to pioneer realtime and Internet realtime.

Realtime

Realtime is instantaneous, easy-to-manipulate communication between computers equipped with litigation support software. Realtime allows you to read the deposition being recorded at the same time it is stored on your hard drive.

With realtime, you can:

  • Organize your depositions in the format you want, when you want it
  • Search or scan your exhibits
  • Mark or print portions of transcripts
  • Conduct full text queries across multiple transcripts
  • Issue reports
  • Compare witness transcripts

Realtime removes the hassles of having to manually go through pages and pages of materials to prepare for trial, allowing you to focus on strategic work, not administrative duties.

Internet Realtime

You don’t even have to be in the same room to have access to testimony as it is occurring. Internet realtime allows you to read the deposition being recorded from any computer, anywhere in the world.

While there are many types of litigation support software around, Northwestern Court Reporters has chosen to be a LiveNote reseller. Click here for more information about LiveNote™.

Transcripts and E-Transcripts

Transcripts are the backbone of the discovery process, and Northwestern Court Reporters can provide you with transcripts in a variety of formats to meet your needs. For instance, you can receive your transcripts on ASCII disks, and get hard copies delivered to you wherever, whenever.

To reduce the paper waste and help you organize your materials, we now offer e-transcripts to our clients through our association with RealLegal. The RealLegal E-Transcript™ program allows us to email you the transcript, which you can then print just the way you want to. Whether you want to combine pages of transcript into one page, or forward to an expert witness, you are in control of the output.

With E-transcript, you can search, report, summarize and share information, giving you a solid foundation to develop your case, not physically organize it.
